Temporary Roof Scaffolding FAQs
All of it. We're based in Romford and work right across the capital and the surrounding home counties - see our North London, East London, South London and West London pages for the boroughs covered in each. If you're not sure whether we come to you, give us a ring; we almost certainly do.
Cost depends on the size and pitch of the roof, the system used and how long it needs to stay up. We'll give you a fixed written price after a site visit, and it won't change unless the scope does.
Most temporary roofs can be installed within a few days once we've completed the design and wind loading calculations. Larger or more complex roofs take longer to plan, so the earlier we're brought in, the better.
Yes - a properly designed and fitted temporary roof is built to keep the building weathertight while the real roof is off. We inspect it weekly to make sure it stays that way for the full duration of the works.
Yes - every temporary roof is designed and calculated for the specific building, taking into account its size, pitch and wind loading, rather than using a one-size-fits-all system.
Yes - we regularly install temporary roofs following fire and storm damage and can liaise directly with insurers and loss adjusters on the scope and paperwork involved.
As long as the job needs - from a few weeks for a straightforward re-roof to several months on a larger refurbishment. We inspect it weekly throughout, whatever the duration.
